Double Transit Ridership
Today roughly half of American households have access to public transportation. With over 80 percent of future growth expected to occur in our cities and suburbs, transit capacity must be expanded. Where it is already available it will need to be expanded, where it is not, it will need to be provided. The goal should be to double transit ridership by 2030, and to double it again by 2055.
